Damian Walshe-Howling denies harassment kiss on Bikie Wars

Actor Damian Walshe-Howling has denied harassment claims by an actress who appeared as an extra on 10’s 2012 drama Bikie Wars.

Rebecca Wilson, who appeared as “Bandido Party Girl” in two episodes, is suing Walshe-Howling and Screentime in the Federal Circuit Court in Sydney.

The Age reports she alleges a “non-consensual and un-scripted” kiss took place during filming including Walshe-Howling “forcing his tongue into her mouth to contact her tongue”.

Wilson claims she has been unable to work since August 2012 and is seeking damages for “hurt, humiliation and distress”, aggravated damages, and compensation for past and future economic loss and medical expenses.

But Barrister Sue Chrysanthou, for Walshe-Howling, sought a court order requiring Wilson to produce medical evidence prior to support her claim she was unable to work as a result of the alleged harassment.

In 2012 Walshe-Howling told TV Tonight, portraying the bikies required intense true-crime scenes.

“The shoot itself was quite dynamic. Having to grow a beard and put on weight, quite a few physical changes took place too. It was a very physical role to play because there are a lot of rough scenes. At times it was quite intense,” he said.

The parties will go to mediation and return to court in March.
