Days of our Lives nearing renewal

A lot of media last week got very worked up about the apparent end of Days of Our Lives, after it was reported that the entire cast of the series had been released from their contracts.

But as TV Tonight hinted, all was not necessarily what it seemed. After all the show is NBC’s most popular streaming title.

Variety now reports the US soap is nearing a deal for a renewal for a 56th season.

Watch this space.

NBC and Sony Pictures Television declined to comment.

  1. I think it was the media more so making it more clickbait worthy because they are all about the views, whereas you just keep it real and honest, which is why we all love and appreciate this site so much. Twas a little Obvious what the producers were doing all along ..
