Entertainment under 600,000, Seven wins Thursday.

Ratings: Nine led in primary channels but multichannels push Seven across the line.

Is it summer yet? It sure felt like it yesterday, in more ways than one…

Thursdays are known for being quiet but no entertainment show could crack 600,000 viewers last night.

Seven Worlds, One Planet was the top non-news title at 595,000, just ahead of an extended Home and Away on 551,000 (from 7pm).

7:30 (526,000), Jamie Oliver: The Naked Chef Bares All (442,000) and Border Patrol (362,000) all followed across the slot.

Earlier Seven’s Cricket coverage of Aus v Pakistan drew up to 474,000 viewers.

Nine led in primary channel share but Seven network won Thursday with 30.3% then Nine 29.4%, 10 17.1%, ABC 15.8% and SBS 7.4%.

Seven News was #1 with 877,000 / 871,000 for Seven.  The Front Bar Cricket Edition was 391,000 and Inside the G ranked 241,000.

Nine News drew 828,000 / 797,000 for Nine then A Current Affair (635,000). Hot Seat was 474,000 / 294,000. Movie London has Fallen was again split into 2 by the network but with a single figure of 280,000.

The Project was 360,000 / 224,000 for 10 then 10 News First (372,000). Trial by Kyle (229,000), Celebrity Name Game (168,000) and  Law & Order: SVU (141,000) followed.

ABC News (609,000), Grand Designs Australia (393,000), Shetland (230,000) and The Drum (164,000) also comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was The Wonderful World Of Chocolate (150,000), SBS World News (120,000) On Becoming A God In Central Florida (115,000).

Hawaii Five-0 led multichannels at 163,000 on 10 BOLD.

    1. A lot of that’s changed now with the shorter run Aussie dramas and the roll out of US dramas being different. Used to love having all these big finals in the same week.

    2. I agree, Ch9 kept Hamish and Andy and ABC have had Total Control and Spicks and Specks special, but the summer ratings and more fragmented industry seems to be a limp to the non-ratings season. Luckily I have some drama series stored on my PVR like How to get Away with Murder S5 and Harrow S2, that I haven’t seen.
