The penultimate episode of The Great Australian Bake Off last night narrowed down to its final 3 contenders: Dan Pasquali, 35, from Brisbane; David Hills, 41, from Melbourne; and Subha (Sunny) Nasir Ahmad, 26, from Sydney.
Next week judges Maggie Beer and Matt Moran will choose their 2019 champion.
Last night’s show was also the top drawcard on Subscription TV.
During the final episode, these three bakers take it to the next level with three final bakes. First up, the Signature is a classic Hungarian celebration cake, a Dobos Torte. Next, the Technical challenge is Mont Blanc tarts where Matt is looking for perfect peaks. And finally, with the garden party in full swing outside the shed, the bakers must create a multi-tiered geometric cake Showstopper that will earn one talented baker the prize title of Australia’s greatest amateur baker.
Hosted by comedians Claire Hooper and Mel Buttle, the fourth season of The Great Australian Bake Off has been another ratings success for Lifestyle.
