Home & Away leads entertainment, Nine wins Tuesday.

Ratings: Seven, Nine and ABC all had titles which won their slot on a fairly uneventful Tuesday.

2019’s penultimate Home and Away was the top entertainment drawcard for the night at 592,000, however it was beaten convincingly in its slot by A Current Affair on 718,000.

The Amazing Race Australia won its slot at 546,000 and topped the younger demo for 10 then 7:30 (511,000), Young Sheldon (470,000 / 392,000), Dream Gardens (387,000) and Zumbo’s Just Desserts (341,000).

Love on the Spectrum led from 8:30 on 453,000 for ABC followed by Nine movie Thor: Ragnarok (354,000), One Born Every Minute (342,000) and  Seven movie: Geostorm

Nine network won Tuesday with 27.8% then Seven 26.5%, 10 18.7%, ABC 17.3% and SBS 9.7%.

Seven News was #1 for Seven at 965,000 / 890,000, topping the older demo. The Chase drew 508,000 / 313,000.

Nine News was best for Nine at 851,000 / 842,000. Hot Seat pulled 455,000 / 305,000.

The Project was 428,000 / 238,000 for 10. 10 News First (352,000), Celebrity Name Game (170,000) and an NCIS repeat (113,000) all followed.

ABC News (619,000), The Prince & the Paedophile (331,000 which was strong for its slot) and The Drum (168,000) comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Russia To Iran: Across The Wild Frontier (215,000), Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9 (174,000) and SBS World News (139,000).

9GEM’s Death in Paradise topped multichannels at 189,000.

News Breakfast: 123,000 / 48,000

  1. Ok one of us can trawl through the site to add them all up and do the maths. I vote u ha! I try to offer readers the same info at their fingertips I have. You may get an answer next week when the year is tallied, hard to say.

  2. David, you’re doing well with your Home and Away photos recently.
    ACA has been really strong in this slot for a while now.
    Interesting that both 7 & 9 have an hour news, but 9 kept their Current affairs show. Still not edgy like it used to be. It seems the 7:30 report and 4 corners own that title.

    1. H&A photos and episodics are rarely sent my way… weirdly I find it the most secretive drama in Oz (all of which I have expressed to Seven publicity), so this is a screenshot again. Yesterday’s xmas image was supplied.
