NITV News announces Science and Technology Editor
Former co-host of The Point, Rae Johnston, takes up a new role at NITV.

Junkee editor and former co-host of NITV’s The Point and Rewired, Rae Johnston is joining the NITV News and current affairs team.
A proud Wiradjuri woman, she takes up the role of Science and Technology Editor, in addition to multiplatform reporting.
Tanya Orman, NITV Channel Manager, said: “Rae brings an authentic voice to news and current affairs and the issues that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to face in our current climate. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming her to our trusted team of Indigenous journalists”
Rae Johnston added, “I’ve been working with NITV for three years now, and to be officially joining the family as Science and Technology Editor really is a dream come true. I can bring my passion for video games, gadgets, space and STEM to an audience that I know and love in new and exciting ways. The cross-platform nature of this role means stories can sit where they are best told, be it television, online or even a podcast, and I get to do it all alongside some of my favourite journalists.”
She begins on 2nd December.
