Seven extends Sydney to Hobart deal

Seven has extended its rights to broadcast the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race until 2023.

Managing Director of  Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport Lewis Martin said: “The Sydney Hobart is close to the heart of most Aussies.

“After a busy Christmas Day, there’s nothing better than to sit back, relax and watch all the action unfold on Sydney Harbour. We’re rapt to continue our partnership with this truly great event, which just keeps getting bigger and better.”

This year’s 75th edition on Boxing Day has attracted 170 entrants from Australia and around the globe, making it the event’s fourth largest field ever.
