Sunday Night looks back in final new episode

Present & former reporters will reflect on their favourite stories as Seven's flagship current affairs marks its finale.

Sunday Night will have its last-ever premiere episode this weekend.

The show will look back over its 11 years, including with feature former & current reporters.

Host Melissa Doyle will hear from Mike Munro, Matt Doran, Denham Hitchcock, Steve Pennells, Alex Cullen, Angela Cox, Rahni Sadler, Ross Coulthart and PJ Madam about their favourite stories.

No word on Chris Bath, Molly Meldrum, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Derryn Hinch, Monique Wright (to name a few), nor originating producers Adam Boland & Mark Llewellyn.

Over summer Sunday Night will still remain in the Seven schedule, packaged via highlights stories.

Seven is yet to confirm new duties for its current team, including host Melissa Doyle.

It’s been quite a ride and one well worth celebrating.

From that very first show in February 2009, Sunday Night gave viewers a front row seat to the events that shaped Australia and the world.

Sunday Night has a proud tradition of fighting for the little guy. Our investigations delivered justice, re-opening cold cases and giving people a voice – often for the first time.

We ventured to some of the craziest places on Earth and met amazing people. Celebrities dropped their guard and revealed their true selves. Every show was unpredictable. That’s what made it great.

Sunday at 8pm on Seven.
