Sixteen months ago, the world held its collective breath as a team of divers began the incredibly risky job of rescuing 12 young soccer players and their coach from a flooded cave in Northern Thailand. Central to this dangerous operation were two Australians, Adelaide anaesthetist Dr Richard Harris – or Dr Harry as he is known – and his diving mate, Dr Craig Challen. In a Sunday Night exclusive, these courageous doctors speak with host Melissa Doyle. It’s the first time Craig and Harry have told the full story of their rescue mission and their crazy plan to get 13 young men out of that cave alive.
