The Expanse: trailer

Season 4 gets underway soon on Amazon Prime.

A trailer has been released for S4 of space opera The Expanse, returning to Amazon Prime.

The series is an adaptation of the novel series by James S. A. Corey that takes place in a future where humanity has colonised the Solar System, and where a shadowy conspiracy threatens the fragile peace between the privileged Earth, the Spartan and militaristic Mars, the industrial asteroid belt, and the disenfranchised outer planets.

The series was initially cancelled by Syfy in May last year, before it was picked up by Amazon Prime.

A fifth season has already been renewed.

Discover what lies beyond the Ring Gate as the Rocinante lands on Ilus to find tensions at a full boil.

Friday December 13 on Amazon Prime Video.

One Response

  1. The Expanse is one of those sci-fi shows that can be distracting at first but then draws you in as the story progresses, the makers have spent much time getting details as believable as possible, using possible future developments of current scientific theory to create their technology for space travel, speculating how humans evolved away from Earth, especially after discovering ethereal forms of life, potentially opening up new dimensional worlds.
Plainly there’s plenty of story to tell so perhaps it’s fortunate that Amazon Prime saved the show, hopefully it will get at least seven seasons which is about right for productions that get better with age.
