  1. I don’t know why 10 aren’t putting the exclusive All Access shows on FTA to help improve their ratings?

Surely the potential advertising revenue would be greater than whatever they’re earning from the All Access subscription fees? If they marketed and screened relatively “high profile” shows like Twilight Zone with a degree of care and skill.

    1. US shows are rating very little on FTA and many of the people who watch them DVR them and skip the ads. They are tending to get bumped to secondary channels or catch up sites after a few weeks. Targeted advertising or catch-up sites or subscriptions bring in more revenue, which is why more and more US shows are airing there and not on FTA.

  2. Why have Ch 10 moved The Bold & The Beautiful from 10 All Access to the normal Ch 10 app? Whilst episodes are still fast tracked, they’re full of bloody annoying long ads.

    1. P.S. I’d stop subscribing to 10 All Access but it’s the only way I can see Hawaii Five-0, as they’re fast tracked. B&B and H5-0 are the only shows I watch.

  3. I am similarly shocked, CBS keeps selling off their biggest drawcard (Star Trek) to other streamers, frankly Star Trek is all that keeps me subbed to Netflix – I couldn’t care less about their original series. But 10 is kneecapped by not having access to CBS’ biggest draw.

    1. CBS sold the distribution rights for Discovery to Netflix and The Good Fight to SBS early on in the production of these shows, and locked into that. Before they bought Ten and before they started All Access, which means that All Access is based around rights to old CBS shows in this country.

  4. Agree with tomothyd

Who cares for more access you have to have decent content. Id love to know how many people actually pay $10 for this. Compare this to netflix or stan and its atrocious. Wouldnt even $5 for it.

    1. For me this great news as we have TVs that were not able to access it through the app. We had to use a tablet and vast it to the TV. We have Netflix,10 All Access & Fetch. Whilst Netflix is a good all-rounder their originals are few n far between. Good for movies & docs. My wife & I like the shows All Access offers and I suspect it will get better as time goes.
