Sunrise presenters David Koch and Natalie Barr are hosts of the 2019 Carols in the Domain.

Performers this year include The Wiggles, Lucy Durack,  Todd McKenney, Penny McNamee, Hans the German and Australia’s Got Talent Grand Finalist Olina Loau, plus a special appearance from Santa Claus.

  2. Only David Koch and Nat? Where’s Mark and Sam? The Cash Cow and Edwina should be included. Morning Show’s Larry and Kylie should have a turn at hosting.

  3. In all honesty they could replay any of the last few years and I’d struggle to tell the difference.

    Same performers, same songs…..but if it makes kids happy, it’s all good.

  4. At first glance (judging by the tiny thumbnail) I thought it was Chris Brown and Julia Morris. They even pose the same.

    No, 10, that’s not an invitation to throw together Chris and Julia’s Christmas Eve Takeaway. 😛

  5. I find carols in the domain such a boring affair. Seven don’t even broadcast it live. This year it could be a very smokey broadcast! Surely it wouldn’t go ahead if the smoke was at the levels it was at yesterday in Sydney!

        1. I can’t really see how they can do it differently. As with Nines Carols By Candlelight, the performers sing a different Carol each year to mix it up, the hosts wear something different each year, or in Lisa Wilkinson’s case, a costume change during every ad break ?
          I will concede that Carols in the Domain is too commercialized, but it gets this Grinch in the mood for the Season ?
