Airdate: The Circle

Hit reality show sees contestants living in the same building, but never allowed to meet.

Hit reality show The Circle will screen on Netflix from January.

The series sees contestants living in the same building, but are never allowed to meet and only engage via social media -but not everybody is being truthful.

Two seasons have been held in the UK in 2018 and 2019, with Netflix having commissioned local versions in the United States, Brazil, and France.

In The Circle you never know who you’re playing against as contestants bond, flirt, and plot, all in an effort to earn clout exclusively through a unique social media platform. Everyone’s competing to gain influence and avoid getting voted out. But who’s for real and who’s a catfish? With $100k on the line, what would you do – and who would you be – to win?

Wednesday January 1 on Netflix.

  1. See this is what Seven should of invested in instead of Big Brother. I have seen part of the series already and it’s pretty good to watch and something fresh, which imo is what we need on tv here.

  2. Having seen both series, I can state this is the best new concept in reality television for a long time. Australian producers, you need to get on this and make an Aussie version.

      1. Glad I could help. 🙂

Also for anyone interested, I believe I heard that the release schedule is 4 eps a week for 3 weeks.

On Jan 1, they’ll release the first 4 eps. then the second lot of 4 on Jan 8 and the final lot (including finale) on Jan 15.

        1. I thought it was daily eps after the first 4?

Although pre-recorded be interesting to see if this works for Netflix – stripped reality shows on streaming services are somewhat untested.
