A full and enthralling trailer has landed for Season 2 of Lost in Space, which premieres Tuesday, 24th December on Netflix.

The new season introduces a series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri.

Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio and Parker Posey all reprise their roles while JJ Feild has joined the cast in the recurring guest role of AI specialist Ben Adler.

There’s more danger — and adventure — ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe… survival is a Robinson specialty after all.

  1. Hopefully there were not any spoilers in this trailer but I suspect there were one or two. Lost in Space could become Netflix’s end of year feature show released for the Christmas season, for myself Lost in Space is one of Netflix’s few premium titles, along with House of Cards and Stranger Things, that has been viewed multiple times. Despite the shows obvious big budget costs and keeping the main actors under contract I hope Lost in Space will get at least a five season run, preferably at holiday time .

    1. I like your idea of releasing each new season of Lost in Space around Christmas, it’s a great time of year to binge watch something new. 5 seasons as a minimum sounds good to me too, as you need that sort of time to fully develop a long story line.
