No surprises here.
A second season of The Mandalorian is destined for Disney+.
Showrunner and creator Jon Favreau confirmed the renewal via Twitter, saying that the second installment is slated to debut later in 2020.

The news comes only hours after the season 1 finale dropped.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal as a bounty hunter. The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, following the travails of “Mando” in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
