It will soon be time to open voting on the annual TV Tonight Awards.
I thought I would again invite reader suggestions for Story of the Year and Blunder of the Year.
Story of the Year is a fairly broad category.
It could be a single TV moment, issue or trend, Australian or international, either on or off screen. Basically it’s the thing that we will look back on as 2019’s legacy, for better or worse.
Blunder of the Year is pretty self-explanatory, but can also be on or off screen.
Leave your thoughts in the comments section below, and let me know which category it’s for!

Story of the year for me is a toss up between the rescue of the Thai soccer team from the cave and the Adam Goodes controversy.
Blunder of the year if you asked me a few weeks ago I would have said the undercover sting of One Nation but I think the Prince Andrew interview beats that now considering he agreed to that being filmed and broadcasted.

Story of the year was The Masked Singer Australia or Lego Masters, while the biggest blunder would have to be the New Year’s Eve date mistake – so much has gone on this year, but that very first thing was probably the precursor to everything that was to happen next…
