New US musical dramedy Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is coming to Stan in February, same day as the US.

This stars Jane Levy (Suburgatory) as a computer coder who can now perceive the innermost thoughts of other people- in the form of song.

It also features Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), Alex Newell (Glee), Mary Steenburgen (Step Brothers) and Peter Gallagher (The O.C.), alongsIde special guest star Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls).

Jane Levy (Suburgatory) stars in this musical dramedy as Zoey Clarke, a whip-smart computer coder who, after an unusual event, suddenly starts to hear the innermost wants, thoughts and desires of the people around her through popular songs.

At first, she questions her own sanity, but after getting some guidance from her musically adept neighbour, and making a breakthrough with her ailing father, Zoey soon realises this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift.

If there’s a song in your heart, it will get in her head.

  1. Loved the pilot which was screened as a preview episode a few weeks ago in the States. If you like flash mobs, the opening scenes will be right up your alley.

  2. The first episode is so good a mix of glee and crazy ex girlfriend. Also it will be interesting to see what they do with the Peter Gallagher character. The scenes on the boat are so good
