I wouldn’t be surprised if old school Who fans are still struggling with this new Doctor, the BBC are still trying to fit their once charismatic retro 60’s show into a multicultural 21st century unisex age, but in a calculated way that allows the show to maintain its British roots but at the same time make Dr Who more appealing to overseas audiences, mainly in the USA.
As a result the characteristic quirky and eccentric nature of the show gets lost in whirl of confused story arcs and so do the actors who are compelled to overact.
