Jack Vidgen sings on America’s Got Talent

Jack Vidgen has made his debut on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, impressing Simon Cowell and the panel of judges.

Vidgen sang Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” with a back story of returning to singing after a lack of confidence with Howie Mandel saying “You have the talent, you have the voice. You just need the confidence.”

Simon Cowell said, “I think you are way, way better than that, so I’m hoping the super-fans vote you through to the next round because there’s way more to come from you. Way more.”

Vidgen, whose first Aussie success screened on America’s Got Talent in 2011, is one of several Aussies to appear on the latest Champions series, including Accordion Hans, Strongman Eddie Williams and 7 year old Comedian JJ Pantano.

Vidgen will next try his hand at Eurovision: Australia Decides with his song I Am King I Am Queen.

FOX8 screens America’s Got Talent: The Champions at 7:30pm Saturday.

  1. Yes he can sing but I am King I Am Queen is one of the most boring dullest songs. It does not have the camp quirky factor to win at Eurovision
