Renewed: Killing Eve

Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer drama gets a fourth season, ahead of its third premiering.

Great news for Killing Eve fans with the show renewed for a fourth season ahead of its third season premiere.

“How could we not have massive confidence in Killing Eve? It has won big in every major award show and is the highest growing show on U.S. television for six years,” said AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios president Sarah Barnett. “The reason for this series’ emphatic embrace is the brilliant women who breathed it into being: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emerald Fennell, Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw and it’s fairy godmother, executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle. Season 3 lead writer Suzanne Heathcote takes Eve, Villanelle and Carolyn to places more thrilling, twisted and surprising than ever. Our addicted fans will not be disappointed.”

The show is also nominated for 2 Golden Globes this week.

A showrunner for Season 4 has not yet been announced.

Killing Eve screens in Australia on ABC.

  1. I fear no future seasons will go close to S1. PWB no doubt had a lot to go with that. But I’m here for the ride. Comer and Oh are worth coming back for.

  2. “How could we not have massive confidence in Killing Eve?”, perhaps because they made a total mess of S2. Without novellas to draw on, and Waller-Bridge’s deft touch at the helm, it lacked a story, trashed the characters and was totally missing cleverness, wit and style of S1 instead going for senseless graphic violence.

Hopefully S3 is better and justifies a S4 written and run by someone not found yet!

    1. Omg I feel like I was the only one who thought this exact thing about S2. Without Jodie Comer the show would have been so very boring which is in stark contrast to the thrilling S1.
