US police procedurals return to Seven on Monday night.
9-1-1 is back with Season 3 “Kids Today” at 9pm next Monday. This screened in the US in September.
Athena enlists the 118’s help when a teenager speeds out of control on the freeway. Meanwhile, a routine traffic stop uncovers a shocking kidnapping and Buck struggles with his recovery.
It will be followed by S.W.A.T. Season 2 “Shaky Town”at 10pm. This screened in the US in September 2018 and previously on Pay TV.
The SWAT team engages in a standoff with human traffickers holding child hostages when a major earthquake hits Los Angeles during their operation and compromises the takedown. Also, while Hondo forms an unexpected personal connection with Deputy District Attorney Nia Wells (Nikiva Dionne), Jim Street has trouble adjusting to his new life as a patrol officer.

So happy for 9-1-1! Love this show and can’t wait for it to be back. It’s about time. The opener to the new season looks incredible.
I’m surprised that they don’t air 9-1-1 as a double with the spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star which has literally just started in the States. I guess they don’t want to be too punctual though…must have a mandatory 6 month waiting period 🙁
Sorry, but don’t hold your breath. Many of us are still waiting for the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19, which is now in its third season in the US. Still no sign of it out here.
Oh yes this is frustrating me no end. Ch 7 really needs to get it’s act together.
Seven does not have Station 19 rights.
Station 19 is great, too! The third season has just kicked off in the US so I wouldn’t hold out much hope for an Australian run.
Airing an LA and NY based version of the same show would be too much. 9-1-1 and SWAT worked before so why mess with that.
People will probably be annoyed enough already when they find out that the tsunami story, that Seven have been so heavily promoting during the cricket, is from episodes #3.2 & #3.3. Networks have figured out people will watch season premieres and finals no matter what is in them, so they save the spectacular episodes for elsewhere in sweeps.
Correct about the Tsunami in ep 2 and 3. The Tsunami is right at the end of ep 1. I absolutely loved ep 2 and 3 with the story lines.
Big fan of 9-1-1 but can’t get into 9-1-1 SWAT. First two eps didn’t do much for me.
The tsunami episodes are a real stand out for me.
Finally! I’ve been waiting for 9-1-1 to air since forever!
