Epic romance is fast-tracked to Foxtel from mid-February.

US drama series Outlander is returning to Foxtel in mid-February.

The series, starring Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, now shifts to FOX One, screening same day as the US.

If I’m not mistaken Aussie David Berry also returns as Lord John William Grey.

Season five will be based on the fifth novel from Gabaldon’s series called The Fiery Cross as well as the sixth book titled A Breath of Snow and Ashes. The fifth novel sees Claire and Jamie now settled at Fraser’s Ridge inNorth Caroline and living happily with their family. But as always, their domestic bliss looks set to be shattered by the approaching American Revolution.

Monday February 17 at 7.30pm on FOX One.

    I hope it will also be available on itunes as a season pass (as it was last year) for those of us who don’t have pay TV?
