Vanessa Amorosi will sing Lessons of Love at Eurovision: Australia Decides next week on the Gold Coast.
“So happy to announce #lessonsoflove is the song I’m taking to Eurovision Australia Decides 2020! I couldn’t be more proud and excited. I co-wrote this song with the extremely talented Aleena Gibson and Trevor Muzzy” she wrote on social media.
Amorosi joins previously revealed songs from Casey Donovan, iOTA, Jack Vidgen, Jordan-Ravi, Mitch Tambo and Diana Rouvas.
This leaves just 3 songs to be revealed from Montaigne, Didirri and Jaguar Jonze, which are due to be confirmed imminently.
Eurovision: Australia Decides airs Live 8:30pm AEDT Saturday February 8 on SBS.

I like the song, but it doesn’t have that wow factor that Eurovision requires. Having said that, Vanessa is a remarkable live performer, and the live version is likely to be better than the studio recording.
I can’t imagine her doing some kind of wacky stunt like waving around on a big bendy stick. I suspect she’ll play it straight.
She has to get that far first…. big bendy stick qualified several times.
The song Jaguar Jonze is performing is called ‘Rabbit Hole’. I heard it premiere on triple j the other night.
I love Vanessa Amorosi, and I was really looking forward to what she had in store for Eurovision, but the composition sounds like a typical 2010s pop anthem (for wanting of a better term).
Feel exactly the same. Love Amorosi and she’s an incredible performer but this doesn’t seem to be a good song choice for Eurovision. So far I’ll be voting for Casey Donovan and Mitch Tambo
yes, so last decade.
