A Current Affair: Feb 21

In an extended episode Tracy Grimshaw sits down with the family of domestic violence victim, Hannah Clarke.

A Current Affair tonight screens an extended episode as Tracy Grimshaw sits down with Lloyd, Suzanne and Nathaniel Clarke.

She speaks with the mother, father and brother of Hannah Clarke – who along with her three young children, tragically died this week in an alleged murder-suicide committed by their father, Rowan Baxter.

For the very first time, intimate details are revealed of the days and weeks leading up to the unthinkable events of last Wednesday, along with firsthand accounts of the callous abuse that Hannah and her daughters Aaliyah, Laianah and son Trey were exposed to.

We learn how Hannah’s worst fears were realised, of her inspirational bravery and commitment to her children, the meticulous planning of a monster and the depths of his depravity, and the heartbreaking final message which those close to her will never forget.

But in despair, there is a flicker of hope. The family tell of their intentions to launch ‘Small Steps for Hannah’, a campaign inspired by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, to help support and raise awareness for any victims of emotional or physical domestic abuse.

7pm tonight on Nine.
