Airdate: Tales From The Loop

New sci-fi follows people who live above a machine built to unlock concepts of the universe that were once believed to be impossible.

New sci-fi series Tales From The Loop is coming to Amazon Prime in early April.

The series follows the people of an alluring town who live above “The Loop”, a machine built to unlock and explore mysterious concepts of the universe that were once believed to be impossible.

The series is created and written by Nathaniel Halpern, and stars Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Town), Paul Schneider (Parks and Recreation), Daniel Zolghadri (Eighth Grade), Duncan Joiner (Waco) and Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes, Game of Thrones)

From executive producer Matt Reeves and based on the acclaimed art of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, Tales from the Loop explores the town and people who live above “The Loop,” a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. In this fantastical mysterious town, poignant human tales are told that bare universal emotional experiences, while drawing on the intrigue of genre storytelling.

Tales from the Loop is from Fox21 Television Studios and Amazon Studios, in association with 6th & Idaho and Indio Studio. The series was created by Nathaniel Halpern, who wrote all eight episodes, and also serves as executive producer alongside Mark Romanek, Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan, Rafi Crohn, Mattias Montero, Samantha Taylor Pickett and Adam Berg.

Friday April 3 on Amazon Prime.

  1. Looks good and looked up the music playing and found Philip Glass and Paul Leonard-Morgan have got together to score the series, so not only some top people behind the making of it but also musically as well.

Looking forward to this with all those behind it and it also has a rich history as there was a Roleplaying game Tales From The Loop that came out in 2017. Which was based on the same artist Simon Stålenhag’s art book and that won five ENnies in 2017 including Best Game, Best Setting, Best Writing, Best Internal Art and Product of the Year.
