Australian Survivor: All Stars: meet the cast

Here are all 24 contestants fighting to become Sole Survivor.

Here are all 24 contestants who entered Australian Survivor: All Stars this week.

Vakama (Yellow): AK, Brooke, Daisy, David, Flick, Jacqui, Jericho, Locky, Mat, Moana, Phoebe and Tarzan.

Mokuta (Green): Abbey, Harry, Henry, John, Lee, Lydia, Michelle, Nick, Shane, Sharn, Shonee and Zach.

Abbey
28, AFLW Premiership Winner — Season 4
The physical threat in the Season 4 trinity with Pia and Janine, Abbey is back for All Stars and ready to take things to the next level. Working closely with her teammates last year, Abbey is hoping to find her next Pia and Janine alliance but knows it won’t be easy to recreate saying; “I learnt so much more about people and the game when you actually play it, so having another opportunity to play is huge. I had an amazing time last season with Pia and Janine that it’s going to be strange doing it without them but I’m going to build rapport with as many people as I can.

AK
32, Wedding DJ — Season 2
Anyone who watched Season 2 will remember AK as the sneakiest player on the island. And this time, he says it won’t be any different. “I feel more relaxed this time, but I don’t regret anything I did last time – I played hard, I thought creatively and never gave up. I’m back this time but I haven’t changed, I want to win, and I want to have some fun.” Following on from his infamous fake chicken Idol, AK is excited to play some big moves and keep his reputation as someone to keep an eye on! He hopes to make his long-term girlfriend, Bec, proud and the fan community with strong game play and memorable moments.

Brooke
26, Fitness Professional — Season 1
For Brooke, there’s one reason to return for Australian Survivor: All Stars – Flick. The Season 1 betrayal of besties Flick and Brooke went down in Australian Survivor history, and Brooke is back and hopes her old friend is too. Brooke said: “I’ve got a few reasons to come back and I want to win back my ‘Challenge Beast’ crown but really, I’m coming back for a Flick vs Brooke Showdown.” Moving into fitness full time since the last time she played, Brooke has been running, boxing and doing strength training to dominate in the physical challenges.

Daisy
24, Travel Agent — Season 4
Lovable and loud, there’s been no rest for Daisy coming back to the island. After making it to Jury Villa in Season 4, she’s hoping to come back stronger than before. “I think I’m back because I’m crazy Daisy! I give everything 100%! I also tell it like it is and I’m not afraid to offend people with my honesty. I’m going to try not to be as paranoid this time and keep my cool more, but I am ready!”

David
39, Supermodel — Season 4
The devious but much-loved Golden God returns for what he refers to as, “Revenge. Pure and simple.” Perth bred and New York based Supermodel, David is back on the beach and ready to take his game play to a new level even without his best mate Luke by his side. “I would love to see Luke on that first day, but he’s already done it twice. I’m going to need a new spy network to keep an eye out for me this time around,” he said.

Flick
26, Travel Consultant — Season 1
Flick has taken the few years since she first played Australian Survivor to study the game and her moves closely. “In the first season, my confidence was very low but now I’m three years older, more mature and have learnt to love myself for me. So I’m hoping that weakness is no more. “But I also believe making one of the biggest moves in the game and voting out my best friend, Brooke, definitely makes me an All Star as I wasn’t afraid to do whatever it took to win the game!”

Harry
30, Ice Cream Maker — Season 4
Dirty Harry, the stick chewing, Janine baiting, lovable villain is back again for a second chance at taking out the win. Making it all the way to Day 49 in the last season, Harry just missed out on being in the final Tribal Council and isn’t planning to let that happen again. “I don’t have any regrets from last time, but I have also learnt from it. I think I’ll consider long-term game play and the consequences of my actions more this time around.

Henry
28, Teacher — Season 2
Henry returns to Australian Survivor: All Stars as a stronger and probably more honest player. “I don’t think I’m going to be able to fly under the radar after everything I did in Season 2. Last time, I acted as a fake Yoga teacher. I threw challenges. I gave clues to my opposition. Trying to be something I’m not isn’t going to work this time. “I’ll be doing some fun tricks but I have to be smart about it. It’ll be Zen Hen 2.0 – bigger, better and stronger.”

Jacqui
52, Wedding Celebrant — Season 2
Jacqui wants to prove to the younger contestants that a 52-year-old can take on people half her age and make it to the end. “I’m here for shits and giggles and my second chance but really, I want people to know women over 50 have still got it and are just as, if not more capable than Gen Y.” Coming back for All Stars, Jacqui has been listening to Survivor podcasts to remember people’s moves. She has continued with her intense fitness training for body building, which she does professionally. But even with all the work she’s putting in, Jacqui also knows her main priority is to “have some fun, do my best and create once in a lifetime, kick ass memories!”

Jericho
27, Flight Attendant — Season 2
Jericho knows coming back to All Stars as a previous winner is not going to be an easy run. With a clear target on his back, Jeri is ready to fight hard to stay in the game and isn’t fazed about people going after him. “I’m definitely going to be more on the frontline of the battle and more likelihood of getting booted early, but I’ve won already so this is a second chance and added bonus. I still want to win. I definitely won’t let people walk over me to get to the final two. I’m back for blood.”

John
29, Gold Miner — Season 4
Self-confessed Australian Survivor newbie, it was a surprise to no one more than John, that he was one of the last Contenders standing in Season 4. Without knowing much about the game or even what an Immunity Idol was, John ended up being one of the heroes of the season because of his good nature, challenge beast skills and arguably, the best mullet on Australian television. “I don’t prepare for Survivor, I just get through by winging it. I don’t know how I did it last time but I’m hoping the same strategy will work this time. I want to make friends and go further than last time. And I want to get my abs back!

Lee
44, Ex-Cricketer — Season 1
The original good guy and runner up of Season 1, Lee is back for All Stars and his second chance at taking out the win. After a harrowing and nail-biting final challenge in Season 1 with Kristie, Lee knows his way of playing is not always the fan favourite. As the unofficial hero of the series, Lee believed and still does that playing honestly can take you all the way.

Locky
30, Adventure Tour Guide — Season 2
One person who will find it hard to go under the radar is Locky. Not just because of his athletic ability but because he’s one of the biggest guys to ever play Australian Survivor. At over six foot, Locky is a challenge beast and he’s back for All Stars with a new passion for adventuring and is very excited to take on the epic challenges that will be thrown his way. “I love the challenges. I know some people get scared when they see them but it’s the absolute highlight for me. I own an adventuring company in Bali so it’s the stuff I love doing. I do base jumping, canyoneering, extreme sports – this is the stuff I love!”

Lydia
37, Olympic Freestyle Skier — Season 3
One of the most competitive and accomplished physical players the show has seen, Lydia returns in full game mode. An Olympic Freestyle Skier, Lydia knows how to push herself to get to the end but had a rude surprise in her season when she was blindsided by Mat Rogers. Coming back a little bit for revenge but mostly for a second chance, Lydia knows what she wants. “I need to trust my gut and act quickly on any red flags. I was definitely holding back last time, especially in Tribal Councils and I could have been more vocal in my opinion.

Mat
43, NRL Legend — Season 3
The Godfather returns, and he’s ready to go! NRL and Rugby League great, Mat has become one of Australian Survivor’s most recognisable faces. He made it to the Jury in Season 3 alongside his best mate in the game, Commando, and Mat is looking forward to seeing what the All Stars can bring. “I really hope to see Moana again. She had a tough run in our season so would love to see her healthy and smashing it. I loved Luke and Dave last time – they’re my favourites, hands down! I hated Dave initially, but he grew on me and Luke is such a loveable rogue.”

Michelle
35, Nanny — Season 2
Proving a lot of people wrong, Michelle not only made it to the top four in her season, she also won a car! While a lot of her fellow castaways saw a Sydney girl who loves the races and cute clothes, Michelle turned out to be a strategic player who could hold her own. And coming back for All Stars, she’s hoping for the same reaction. “I have the philosophy that you have to risk it for the biscuit! I am going to play savage, trust my gut and chat, chat, chat.”

Moana
31, AFLW Footballer — Season 3
Back for redemption and a second chance for the win, Moana is excited to get to the island and get started. Feeling that she’s got some unfinished business, she’s not going to let this opportunity slide by. Sadly for Moana, she was unwell during her season and left the game feeling like she hadn’t been able to give it her all. When the opportunity came to join All Stars, Moana was ready to go. “I’m the underdog. Nobody knows what I’m capable of and in some ways, being sick last time should make everyone underestimate me this time.

Nick
31, School Teacher — Season 1
In the real world, Nick is a sweet school teacher and new dad. But in Australian Survivor, he is the original snake and villain from the first season. Acknowledging his role in the series, Nick said: “I’m Nick the snake. I know that and I love it. I’m a loud mouth and I think I was one of the few real players in the first season, who wanted to play.” Leaving a new born baby at home was the biggest challenge Nick faced in coming back. But, the chance to return as an All Star was too good for this superfan to ignore.

Phoebe
30, Lawyer — Season 1
If anyone had a run of bad luck during their season, it was Phoebe. The ultimate battler who got knocked down but kept coming back up, she’s a fan favourite for a reason. In the minority at every turn, Phoebe managed to swing the game around to stay as long as possible. “I drew short straws the whole time and got very unlucky, but it happens, and I kept pushing. “I think I’m back because I played hard, I set records, I never gave up and I had a blast. I played hard from day one all the way till my torch was snuffed. I’m definitely fitter and now have four more years of life experience that I hope will help me this year!”

Shane
62, Olympic Gold Medallist — Season 3
Not only is Shane Gould an Australian Icon and Olympian but she’s also the oldest Australian Survivor winner and is ready to do it all again! After winning the first Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders in Season 3, Shane has finished her PhD and graduated in doctoral studies. With all her work away from the island, she’s excited to come back for All Stars and give it another chance. “I won my season, I was the oldest to win and I played a subtle game with some well-timed moves, very good luck and very good help from allies at the right times.

Sharn
42, Barrister — Season 3
Straight talking and secret strategist, Sharn is a barrister from Melbourne who is coming back for her second chance and opportunity to finally take out the win. After coming second to Shane Gould, Sharn battled with ideas that she wasn’t loyal to her alliance so is conscious of not letting that happen again. “I don’t have any real regrets from the last time because everything I did got me as far as I could go and to be in the final two. If I had any regrets, it would be that I didn’t stop the persistent questioning of me in relation to loyalty. I thought I was more loyal than people gave me credit for.”

Shonee
27, Personal Assistant — Season 3
As one part of the Shonella duo in Season 3, Shonee is back without her best mate Fenella but isn’t going to let it slow her down. The personal assistant from London who loves chilling on the beach and drinking margaritas is not afraid to get her hands dirty. After coming fourth in her season, Shonee is happy when people misjudge her. “I was the last Contender standing and survived 17 Tribal Councils in my season! I am an All Star!”

Tarzan
53, Lime Farmer — Season 2
The sweet lime farmer from Queensland, Tarzan may not be the biggest strategist but he’s one of the most loved players in Australian Survivor history. Tarzan, aka Mark, became a father figure to his tribe and even gave up an Immunity Idol that he found to help his mate, Tessa. This time, he’s learnt a few more tricks to playing the game but will still be the Tarzan people know and love. “My Survivor game plan is to become all things to all men and women, gain their confidence and have them take me as far in the game as possible. I might have to turn on people at some point, but I really will try not to and will kill me to do it.”

Zach
40, Personal Trainer — Season 3
One of the most controversial players to hit the island, Zach was not favoured by his female castaways, but he says he’s learnt from it and wants to show his real side. “I have focused on the political correctness side of my interactions, thanks to one of my training clients. She has been educating me on how to interact with people and I have learnt a lot. I don’t want to have a reputation as someone that isn’t me so I would like to prove that I am not what people think.”

7:30pm Monday – Wednesday on 10.

  1. It’s a great cast bar one, that being Zach. A few are missing like Luke, Pia and Janine but i’m sure they have their reasons. Or maybe they could be intruders. Heard that might happen this year. So far loving the new season.
