US ‘revenge comedy’ Insatiable has been axed by Netflix after two seasons.

The series features Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano.

On Twitter Milano said, “This is sadly true. We had the most fun creating this show. I want to thank the fans who gave us a shot and kept coming back for more. Season 1 & 2 are still streaming. P.S. Any thoughts on who was Coralee’s baby daddy? I guess we will never know. ? #Insatiable”

Insatiable also courted controversy with its premise, sparking accusations of “body-shaming” but it nevertheless proceeded with a second season which wrapped in October.

  1. This is disappointing. I enjoyed the show. Sure, there was plenty wrong with it, but I just found it an entertainingly over the top soap opera (and the fat-shaming accusations were such a beat-up.) What the heck is going on with Netflix? They’re not going to have any original shows left at this rate, and it often seems anything I plan to watch is gone after three months before I can get around to it. So frustrating. But do check out Harlan Coben’s The Stranger.
