Fire Fight Australia on the big screen at Fed Square

Foxtel partners with Federation Square in Melb for Sunday's massive bushfire relief concert.

Foxtel will broadcast the massive Fire Fight Australia concert on the big screen at Federation Square in Melbourne on Sunday from midday.

Eddie McGuire, Shaynna Blaze and other guests will be in attendance as they cross live to a purpose built studio at ANZ Stadium.

Foxtel’s Executive Director of Television, Brian Walsh, said: “Foxtel is very proud to be broadcasting this special event for all Australians, and delighted that our friends at Fed Square are joining us on this history-making concert. Adding Melbourne to the television line-up helps broaden the reach of this important fundraising event and enables Victorians who are also affected by this crisis to get involved.”

Fed Square Chief Executive Officer, Dr Xavier Csar, said: “For years Victorians have come to Fed Square for celebration and healing. We are teaming up with Foxtel to enable our community to get behind this worthy cause.”

Foxtel’s broadcast will kick off with a one-hour pre-show from midday AEDT by Peter Stefanovic and Laura Jayes. Coverage of the concert will start from 1.00pm AEDT hosted by Rove McManus, Matt Shirvington, Deborah Hutton, Jason Dundas and Hannah Hollis, amongst others.

Fire Fight Australia will be headlined by rock legends Queen + Adam Lambert, who will be joined by a stellar line-up of international talent including global superstar Michael Bublé (exclusive live cross), Grammy award winning Canadian singer songwriter k.d. lang and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper.

These international artists will appear alongside a cavalcade of Australian music industry heavy weights including 5 Seconds of Summer, Amy Shark, Baker Boy, Conrad Sewell, Daryl Braithwaite, Delta Goodrem, Grinspoon, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, Icehouse, Illy, Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Olivia Newton-John, Peking Duk, Pete Murray, Tina Arena and William Barton.
