New set for The Daily Edition
One of the ugliest sets on TV has been given a makeover.

Another new set unveiled this week, at The Daily Edition on Seven (thank goodness!).
The afternoon show hosted by Sally Obermeder & Ryan Phelan is now sporting a soft blue and yellow look.
That ditches a set I had previously described as one of the worst on TV (hmm, did that prompt a rethink?). Check out the old set below.
The refresh for the tiny show at Martin Place would also seem to suggest rumours of changes to Seven’s arvo schedule are a bit off the mark. Seven recently denied any changes were due.
Here’s the old set in case you forgot….

I liked the original set…with the cute little yellow ceramics chihuahua’s on the shelves…
Yes indeed. The original set did have cute ceramic dogs, but it also had cute Kris Smith at the desk 😉
I wouldn’t say this is an improvement. it looks awful, why not just use the same set as Sunrise/the Morning Show
Now it’s time for Sunrise to get a new set. Always preferred the former one to the current.
Any word on when 9 news now is coming back? Thought it would be back by now now that regular programming is back.
That was what Nine said I thought. They must be satisfied with the performance of Tipping Point. One step closer to a local version perhaps…
No date advised.
Thanks David.
