New Australian drama The End will premiere in the UK next week.
The series is a co-production between Foxtel and Sky Atlantic which tells the story of three generations of a family with separate but intersecting obsessions – trying to figure out how to die with dignity, live with none and make it count.
The 10-part series produced by See-Saw Films (Lion, The King’s Speech) stars Frances O’Connor (The Missing, Mr Selfridge), Dame Harriet Walter (The Crown, Succession) and Noni Hazlehurst (A Place to Call Home), Robyn Nevin (Top of the Lake, Upper Middle Bogan), Luke Arnold (Black Sails, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart), John Waters (Offspring), Alex Dimitriades (Secret City, The Principal) Roy Billing (Rake) and young Australian actors Morgana Davies (Devil’s Playground) and Ingrid Torelli (Matilda).
Created and written by Samantha Strauss, it will screen on FOX Showcase at a date yet to be announced.
