Globe-trotting action drama Blood & Treasure is the latest new show to be added to 10 Play from today.

The CBS series centres around an antiquities expert and an art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure.

The cast features Matt Barr, Sofia Pernas, James Callis and Katia Winter. This premiered in the US in May 2019 and a second season began filming internationally in October (hope they got lots in the can!).

When Danny’s mentor, Dr. Anna Castillo and the priceless ancient Egyptian artefacts she’s discovered are stolen by terrorist Karim Farouk, the sexually charged duo, Danny and Lexi team up to catch the ruthless terrorist.

As they crisscross the world hunting their target, Danny and Lexi unexpectedly find themselves at the centre of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization.

  1. Hey what happened to blood and treasure? It’s not on channel 10 anymore. Does anyone know where I can continue looking at season 1 please?

  2. I just watched the first ep, mostly because I like Matt Barr and it looked like a play on his character from Sleepy Hollow. It’s easy to watch, fun, and a good cast, also including John Larroquette and Oded Fehr. Its like the movies National Treasure and Sahara in tone. I’ll definitely give the rest of the season a go.

  3. So…. looks good, but will it be on real TV, even a ‘secondary’ channel? I see it premiered on CBS in May 2019 with high reviews on IMDb. A CBS production. Not as if 10 can’t find a slot among all of those repeats of “encores” every week.
