Next week NITV launches a new Indigenous AFL series, Yokayi Footy.
The series is hosted by former Adelaide, Sydney and Collingwood player Tony Armstrong, AFLW advocate and youth pioneer Bianca Hunt, and former Brisbane Lions and Australian Indigenous Team of the Century player Darryl White, Yokayi Footy.
Unlike the previous Marngrook Footy Show, this is an NITV Production. The program also marks the beginning of a partnership between NITV and the AFL.
Yokayi Footy is a new take on the traditional footy panel show with a youthful, Indigenous lens on the AFL. The program will dive into footy and Indigenous culture through analysis, humour and debate. Our hosts Tony Armstrong, Bianca Hunt, and Darryl White will bring footy chat to the table in our Melbourne studio, before heading out on Country, with segments exploring the grassroots efforts of players around the country and the untold stories from their communities.
8pm Wednesday 18 March on NITV (rpt Fridays at 3pm on SBS VICELAND).

it was sad to see Marngrook Footy Show end, but happy to see there’s a new AFL show in a primetime timeslot.
