Dancing with the Stars brings forward grand final

Dancing With The Stars has wisely brought forward its grand final to this Sunday.

Dancing With The Stars has wisely brought forward its grand final to this Sunday, a week earlier than originally planned.

It follows from several challenges the show has endured as a Live broadcast, including the loss of a studio audience and self-isolation for Christian Wilkins & dance partner Lily Cornish.

Yes that’s right, our fantastic, final four celebrities – Celia Pacquola, Christian Wilkins, Claudia Karvan and Ed Kavalee will fight it out for one last time for the illustrious mirror ball trophy and $50,000 for their nominated charity.

First up, it’s redemption time, as our stars take a second shot at a dance that our judges believe they can excel in.

Then, like a good cocktail, we’re blending two genres of dance into the one routine for a fusion dance. Sound complicated? It is!

Voting lines will close at the top of the show and the judges scores will be combined with the viewer vote to determine the winner.

So vote now for your favourite celebrity to WIN! SMS their name to 1995 1010 or log onto www.10play.com.au

Don’t forget to get involved with #dancelikenooneiswatching on your socials and join the thousands of people at home taking part. In times like these it’s important to keep on dancing and support each other.

10’s Dancing With The Stars is hosted by Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer, produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia and BBC Studios, from a format created by the BBC and distributed by BBC Studios.

7pm Sunday on 10.

  1. I hope it rates well they deserve it. It would do well on a Thursday night at 7:30 followed by Goggle Box. Thursday night has always been 10’s night and they get good numbers there. Dancing was up against it two fold in Sydney in ts first two weeks with 100,000 homes without power on launch night from massive storms, the second week 75,000 people attended the bush fire relief concert at Homebush, it just never recovered there after that.

  2. What happened to the freestyle dance where they can do what they want? Hope to see Celia win also more so for her dancing partner. Ed I like but he hasn’t been the best dancer. Claudia wouldn’t mind seeing her win, Christian has been good to.

  3. Agree with craigj77- it would be wise to film and record now with different ending/winners like other reality shows (e.g. Rupaul Drag Race, Masterchef etc).
Could have a live skype session set up for the dancers and just have the hosts and judges in studio for the evening.

  4. Wow grand final already? I hope Christian wins as he deserves it for being isolated. The finale without an audience will be strange though. Are those eliminated returning?

  5. Great news. I hope Christian and Lily win. I think Christian is the most improved dancer this season and oh what a wonderful personality he has but I think Celia is actually the best dancer.
