With the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest cancelled the European Broadcasting Union has announced Eurovision Home Concerts are set to screen online.
To be hosted on YouTube and social media channels, each episode will feature several artists who have been part of the Eurovision family over the years, including artists who were due to appear in 2020.
Each will perform their own song and a cover version of another Eurovision hit.
The choice of cover song will be voted on by through a social media poll with 4 possible options, as chosen by the artist themselves (who will cover Sound of Silence please?)
The first artist up for Episode 1 is 2018’s Ryan O’Shaughnessy from Ireland, performing his song Together
The first episode will be published on 3 April (European date).
No word yet if any Aussie acts, including 2020 representative Montaigne, will perform.
Which ONE of his four choices do YOU want to hear him cover?🎙️
The poll will close tonight at 22.00 CET🕙@Ryan_Acoustic | #EurovisionHomeConcerts | #Eurovision
