Four Corners: Mar 9

ABC screens a BBC Panorama episode on "The Prince and the Epstein Scandal."

Monday’s Four Corners screens a BBC Panorama episode on “The Prince and the Epstein Scandal.”

“It’s pretty upsetting to see how many lives he’s devastated, and to see how long this went on for and nobody did anything about it.” Chauntae Davies, Epstein victim

Jeffrey Epstein was the wealthy financier with celebrity friends, unmasked as a serial sexual predator of underage girls.

“I think the best way to describe Jeffrey Epstein was just creepy.” Spencer Kuvin, Lawyer

‘It went from being abused by Epstein to being passed around like a platter.” Virginia Giuffre, Epstein victim

One of Epstein’s famous friends was Prince Andrew, the Queen’s second son, who had holidayed in Epstein’s houses on numerous occasions.

“With respect to Prince Andrew, I think he needs to come clean, and I think the facts need to be revealed.” David Boies, lawyer

Last year Epstein was charged with sex trafficking, but he never faced justice, taking his own life while in custody. Far from dying with him, the scandal has continued to rage.

On Monday Four Corners examines allegations made by one of Epstein’s victims who says she was trafficked to Prince Andrew for sex.

“He got up, and he said thanks, and I sat there in bed just horrified, and ashamed, and felt dirty.” Virginia Giuffre, Epstein victim

The Prince has strenuously denied the allegations.

“I can absolutely categorically tell you it never happened.” Prince Andrew

Featuring interviews with key players in this scandal, including Prince Andrew, the story pieces together the sordid details of Epstein’s offending and the allegations made against Prince Andrew.

“He knows what happened. I know what happened. And there’s only one of us telling the truth, and I know that’s me.” Virginia Giuffre, Epstein victim

Monday 9th March at 8.30pm on ABC.
