FOX League’s new call on classic games

FOX League invited viewers to vote on classic NRL matches, which will all be given brand new commentary.

FOX League is getting creative in challenging times.

Up against a lack of new NRL the channel will screen FOX League Classics -allowing viewers to vote on classic matches- which will all be given brand new commentary.

Andrew Voss, Warren Smith and Dan Ginnane will be joined by some of the biggest names in the game including Matty Johns, Greg Alexander, Steve Roach, Mick Ennis, Braith Anasta and Bryan Fletcher to re-call classic rugby league matches.

Fans will vote on eight classic games via each week, with the top four to be broadcast and re-called the following weekend.

Fans can settle in to watch FOX League Classics on Friday night at 8.00pm AEDT, Saturday at 5.00pm AEDT and 7.00pm AEDT and on Sunday at 3.00pm AEDT.

FOX League Classics will also be available to stream on demand on Foxtel Go and Foxtel NOW.

FOX League Live will continue to keep fans abreast of the latest rugby league news and interviews with the game’s biggest stars on deck from Sunday to Friday at 5.00pm AEDT and on Saturdays at 3.00pm AEDT.

The Fan with Andrew Voss and Lara Pitt returns on Tuesday night at 8.00pm AEDT while the laughs continue on The Late Show with Matty Johns on Thursday night at 8.00pm AEDT.

  1. The AFL well and truly need to do this.
    I was listening to Triple M on Saturday afternoon and the Saturday commentary team re-called the classic 1989 grand final and it was a real hoot! Making jokes about what changes the AFL should make in the future… it was great!
