Kerri-Anne signs new Studio 10 deal

Reports of KAK's early demise from 10 panel were greatly exaggerated.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley has signed a new contract for Studio 10.

It comes despite some recent reports suggesting she might be dropped from the 10 show.

“It’s been in the works for weeks,” she told Woman’s Day.

KAK has also been at the centre of several controversies, but all have generated press for the show.

“If they didn’t want me to re-sign, I wouldn’t have been bothered. I can amuse myself quite happily without daytime TV.”

  1. “If they didn’t want me to re-sign, I wouldn’t have been bothered. I can amuse myself quite happily without daytime TV.”

    Basket weaving?

  2. I like KAK and it’s great for S10. I think Kerri-Anne is better suited to having her own show and interviewing one on one though, she has a fun and funny side which you saw on Mornings and Midday but not so much on the S10 panel. KAK has gone through a lot of late so it would be good for her to have her own daytime show and interview again have a laugh, belt out a few tracks 🙂

  3. If by chance when I switch my tv on and Studio 10 is on I instantly change channels. KAK and Joe have had said far too many offensive things for me to ever watch this show again.

  4. I caught about 5 mins this morning and KAK was looking a bit sour during a discussion on Covid19 and still is making statements about ‘influenza killed more last year’.

I turned over because 5 panelists talking over each other is just too noisy. Then Sarah brought Tarsh in on it so there were 6 voices trying to discuss complexities in 15 sec sound bites. Argh!

Doesn’t surprise me that they want to keep KAK – as you say, she keeps the show in the papers.
