I am annoyed as I love this show but appears that the Blacklist wasn’t on last night and when I on to check the TV Guide for next Tuesday its not on that evening either! No information found on their facebook as to what has happened! Very annoyed! Can anyone shed any light on this?
11:30 Sunday.
so you get bombarded with all this reality tv rubbish on hd channels and a drama comes back on and passed to a blocky sd channel
Channel 7 should be blacklisted for the way they treat this and so many of their shows,I find them to be the worst , David do you have any idea why they delay so much apart from the obvious slackness.
There’s no single reason, it’s a myriad of overall programming, working around US exemptions, weighing up which shows require swifter broadcast, available timeslots etc.
Thanks David ,I’ve avoided spoilers so far so not long to go now.
The Blacklist was not renewed immediately after S5. It was later renewed for Midseason so Seven weren’t going to start after Christmas and didn’t fast track it. It future was again in doubt but because of sales to the UK and Australia was renewed as a Fall Friday night show, where it is doing OK.
Seven aren’t fast tracking it, but if they give it a good regular slot on 72 and keep it on air. They are five months behind but we get to skip all the production and holiday breaks so it will finish only a couple of months after the US. That good for a show that rates as it does by S7.
Finally, they have been promoting it since December. Something to watch from our sick beds.
I’ve watched every ep of the previous seasons but I’ll wait until it gets on Netflix to watch S7 so it’s 4k not blurry SD on 7-Two.
Thanks for the heads up, David.
