Today show makes changes

A studio switch for Nine breakfast.

Nine’s Today show has switched studios amid the current coronavirus changes.

The show has moved to the smaller studio used by Today Extra.

“You might notice it’s a new look here. The show will look a little bit different as we adjust to this normal, so David and Belinda have lent us their studio for the time being,” Allison Langdon told viewers.

Nine confirmed this is part of wider efforts to reduce the flow of traffic throughout the Nine newsrooms.

News presenter Tracey Vo has also returned to Perth and self-isolating as part of WA lockdown.

“Tracey is also off the desk for a while … She’s staying at home in Perth to look after her parents during this crisis. We send her and her family our very best,” said Langdon.

Vo told Today she made the hard decision because her 64-year-old father has a rare autoimmune disease called Morvan’s syndrome.
