Online reviews can make or break a business. VICE journalist Taji Ameen visits businesses to see if they’re as bad as the internet says.

He gets his colon cleaned, teeth whitened, nipple pierced and visits a psychic, dating coach, strip club and fourteen more businesses plagued by bad reviews to see if they are as bad as their reviews make them out to be.

This is a 10 part series that kicks off with a double episode.

Series One, Episode One: Colonics And Bowling
After Taji bares all for a colonic at a low-rated spa, he braves a sketchy 24-hour bowling alley to give the owner a chance to defend an alleged anti-birthday cake policy.

Episode Two: Stripping And Piercing
Taji visits a horribly rated strip club in Philly, and gets his nipple pierced at a Brooklyn bar once shut down by the health department.
