  1. House Rules needs to retired. It is old. It needs a new format and new Host/Hostess. James just doesn’t cut it. He was more successful with Landscaping. I only tune in to see the final makeover weekly to see if there is any ‘new’ ideas to dressing a room, but, nah so far.

    1. This *was* the new format and revamp. The problem is that they took out the best of the old, and replaced it with pseudo-Block upgrades. They alienated the established fan base and did not attract anyone new.

  2. I have only watched just over half of it will watch the rest today but last nights Masterchef was possibly the worst ever in 12 years with all the over the top shouting and cheering from the judges contestants and crowd thankgod for the FF button no wonder ratings were down

  3. What a joke our alleged multicultural broadcaster has become.
It survives on running documentaries about the British royal family, British inventions and travel – oh and the ubiquitous Railway shows.
How so they justify their budgets with this tosh ?
Sounds like the very content that could easily be covered by an ABC or Commercial digital channel …
This place is just a nest of old mates taking care of their mates and to hell with the Australian taxpayer who deserves more for their money.

    1. SBS is buying most of this stuff on the open market because commercial TV and the ABC doesn’t want it. The ABC could have bought Trust Me I’m Doctor and Mosley’s other shows but they aren’t interested in 150k viewers for UK content in a key primet time slot anymore.

After finishing New Girl this week and the X-files, Viceland is trying Happy Ending and SG1 on Saturdays. It’s not Viceland nor does it meet the SBS charter. Still I never caught the pilot of Happy Ending that set up the premise, now I will.

  4. If things continue their current trajectory, one of the TV stories of the year (COVID shutdowns etc aside) will surely be ABC News relegating Today into third place at breakfast.
