Cast members from the US production of Queer as Folk will ‘reunite’ online as a fundraiser.
Scott Lowell, who played Ted, will host the event that will feature actors Sharon Gless, Peter Paige, Michelle Clunie, Hal Sparks, Randy Harrison and Robert Gant alongside creators Ron Cowen and Dan Lipman. Other names are expected to be announced (Thea Gill and Gale Harold perhaps?).
The event will help CenterLink to assist the LGBT community affected by COVID-19 impact.
The cast has reunited before, in 2015 for at the ATX Television Festival and last year for an event in West Hollywood.
The event takes on YouTube at 4am Saturday May 2 AEST.

I’m so going to stay up and watch this. Absolutely love Queer As Folk and can’t wait to see them all again. Maybe I can go into the comments during it and beg them to make another series haha
CenterLink is quite an ironic name for a charity group…
Can’t have Justin there without Brian!
Russell T Davies was the creator – not Ron Cowen and Dan Lipman – they developed the US version
Post is referring to US series, even IMDb has Cowen and Dan Lipman credited as creators, I imagine all 3 were probably credited on screen.
Yes, I realise that it’s the US (with a bit of Canadian input) series, but like The Office and Shameless, the US people didn’t create it, they developed it for another market – most of the early episodes in all three were carbon copies. I know it’s semantics, and they obviously paid money so wanted recognition, but how can you create something that’s already been created?
Funnily enough, English copies of US shows keep the original US creator
