NSW Police are fed up with Married at First Sight contestants reportedly drawing on police time, filing reports with a paparazzo in tow.
“It has happened a lot this year. We take all police reports seriously, but what’s happening with MAFS contestants is a gee-up. We are in the midst of 24/7 dramas,” an unnamed senior police officer has told The Sunday Telegraph.
“To my mind, their agent is just trying to get them some cash for a story,” they continued.
“If there is no pap there, no one is going to know about it and no one is going to write about it.”
He plans to tell Nine and producers Endemol Shine Australia to take greater control for disputes before the next season.
It was not suggested the contestants themselves organised the paparazzi to be at police stations when reports were filed.

What on earth? Am I correct in saying MAFS contestants are taking AVOs out on paparazzi for hassling them?
No. They are in attendance as they make reports.
this series was filmed late last year.
also there may not be MAFS next year due to the coronavirus.
Broadcast is considered an essential service, so has some exceptions to the COVID 19 restrictions.
unfortunately…. MAFS is not an essential service.
Why aren’t they social distancing????
It’s an older pic.
