The Graham Norton Show is back on Friday but with a twist.
Like most US hosts, Norton is broadcasting from home, in a trimmed down 30 minute edition, with online guests Michaal Buble, Martin Freeman, Daisy Haggard, Michael Sheen, Celeste and a Dame Judi Dench cameo.
The Big Red Chair Challenge also looks a lot different…
10 will follow this with a one hour studio repeat.
Due to the COVID-19 crackdown, Graham is trading the famous red couch for his own an at-home version. Graham proves that we’re all #InThisTogether as he brings us the LOLs via our favourite virtual A-list guests.
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé dials in to discuss how he is copying through this pandemic, Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard talk up their new comedy Breeders, and discuss swearing in front of kids and in true Quiz style, Michael Sheen and Graham partake in a game of Who Wants To be Millionaire.
With new music from Celeste and a phone-in cameo from Dame Judi Dench, we’ve got all the laughs and surprises you need for a 30-minute distraction.
8pm Friday on 10 (rpt episode at 8:30pm).

I watched this over the weekend. I know it’s not an ideal situation, under really trying conditions, but it’s really missing the social dynamic of the couch. Still quite an OK episode, it’s just far from its usual zippy self.
I’ve been wondering if Graham Norton was going to have to do what most US live shows have been doing. I’ll be interested to see what he does.
the 30 min version will have ads, so the repeat studio version will Probably screen at 8.45
