Sam Armytage is tipped to return to Sunrise on Monday.
The Seven presenter has taken time off to recover from a respiratory infection which developed during the bushfires.
She first took leave on February 26, returning for a brief stint on March 3.
A Seven spokesperson has told Daily Mail she will be back on the air next week, although sources told TV Tonight if she needed more time to recover it would be available to her.
“Health first,” a source advised.
Survey ratings also resume on Monday after a two week Easter break.

Oh must we. Nat is so much more professional and relatable than Miss Armytage who comes across as sarcastic shallow and entitled. Nat and Kochie seem to have a much better on air relationship which is not earmarked by the snide attempts at humour and one upmanship so prevalent when Armytage is there. We have never enjoyed watching the show more than when she is absent and would love to see her permanently gone.
don’t u find Sam laughs at nothing?
She has a great laugh! I was at the carols a few years ago and a little boy was excited looking at all the hosts presenting and she looked over and gave him a warm smile which was really nice of her, she seem’s like a good person,
Very happy Sam will be back! She is a much better presenter than Nat. I’m honestly not sure how some are saying nat is better?
I find sam armatyge an adequate compare but she laughs too much at nothing.
Compare to what though ?
I meant to say, adequate compere (host)
Nat is so much better! I’d prefer Sam stayed at home
Great news. She is clearly Australia’s no.1 female presenter.
Do we have to have her back? Sorry but the show has been a lot better without her! Natalie Barr has Done a great job as host and has a far more likeable and real personality. Sam Armytage comes across as aloof and opinionated.
