Airdate: Tiger King: What Really Went Down?

Matt Doran revoices a special on Joe Exotic & co. screening next Tuesday on Seven.

Seven has picked up a TMZ-produced special Tiger King: What Really Went Down?

This screened in the US last month as it looks into the characters behind the runaway Netflix series Tiger King. This will be revoiced in Australia by Matt Doran airing next Tuesday.

House Rules moves to two nights next week with a 2.5hr Sunday episode.

Meanwhile Nicholas Cage has just been announced to play Joe Exotic in a scripted series, from CBS Television Studios and Imagine Television.

Channel Seven presents an investigation into the explosive true-crime story everyone is talking about, with exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage.

This premiere special will delve into what really went down, exploring outstanding questions about whether or not Joe Exotic is guilty, an inside look into Carole Baskin’s husband’s disappearance and the current status of the new investigation.

Produced by TMZ/Harvey Levin

7:30pm Tuesday May 12 on Seven.

  1. Dreadful contempt for the only franchise they have on (that did 600+ last night)
Will be very interesting to see if a trashy TMZ special gives them the numbers they’re clearly banking on!

    1. I agree with you – House Rules is actually rating well for 7. What a shame if they just let another one of their franchises crash and burn. 2.5 hour double episode – that’s just unheard of for a reality show.

      1. A year ago this would have screened as a Sunday Night: True Stories special

Seven loves their double episodes that no-one asked for. Countless dramas ruined with finishes after 11pm on a regular basis.

  2. Seven are likely trying to burn through what’s left of the under-performing House Rules – maybe that’s why it’s scheduling a 2.5hr episode on Sunday which even the most committed fan would surely find at least 1hr too long…
