In a MasterChef coup superstar Katy Perry -who sings the show’s theme tune- enters the kitchen tonight.
Perry was in Australia in March.
In today’s star-studded immunity challenge, the five winning contestants from the mystery box challenge are today cooking for immunity from Sunday’s elimination.
In honour of MasterChef Australia’s iconic theme song, Hot N Cold, the judges tell the contestants they must create a dish with heat but in a twist [deleted]
With 75 minutes on the clock to cook an immunity – winning dish, the contestant with the most impressive dish will find themselves safe from Sunday’s elimination.
In a jaw-dropping twist, international superstar Katy Perry arrives at the MasterChef kitchen mid-way through the cook to act as a guest judge.
7:30pm tonight on 10.

If it was chili….should have been milk, not water.
I am liking this season but i do think that Po is getting to much airtime Meaning that you don’t see enough of the other contestants tonight should be interesting but at 2/12 hours with ads it’s rather long will be recording it watching it at 8pm so i can FF all the ads
Jock says that she has been singing the theme song for 12 years. Remember when they changed it for Season 5! It probably doesn’t have a good ring to it, “for 11 of our 12 years. It’s Katy Perry …”

I don’t think they changed it either. They had a different tune for “Professionals,” but the regular season that year still had Hot n Cold.
I imagine preparing dishes with heat but that are cold was the whole inspiration for this week’s poorly received ‘Twist Week’
Cannot wait. I’ve enjoyed twists week this week. although it seems Poh’s dish is a bit to much for her.
So excited for tonight…looks like there’s a chance for 10 to get some bumper numbers tonight.
I hope she returns for the finale. Then she can sing the theme song at the end.
