Gap narrows between The Voice, MasterChef

Ratings: Gaps may be wide on screen, but not in the 7:30 ratings numbers.

It’s game on at 7:30.

At 953,000 viewers The Voice was only narrowly ahead of MasterChef Australia‘s 928,000 last night -just a 25,000 difference.

But 10, which saw its first social-distancing cook-off, again stayed in front in the demos.

Both were ahead of Australian Story (656,000), 7:30 (648,000) and House Rules (579,000).

Later Have You Been Paying Attention? drew 815,000, then Media Watch (648,000), Four Corners (646,000), The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story (440,000), the return of Kinne Tonight (372,000) and 9-1-1 (324,000).

Nine network won Monday with 29.0% then Seven 24.5%, 10 21.6%, ABC 17.6% and SBS 7.2%.

Nine News (1.13m / 1.05m) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot with 876,000 and Hot Seat was 640,000 / 385,000.

Seven News was #1 with 1.23m / 1.19m then The Chase (681,000 / 399,000) and Home and Away (678,000).

The Project drew 618,000 /  363,000 then 10 News First (423,000 / 285,000) for 10.

ABC News was 819,000 for ABC. Q&A (337,000) and The Drum (232,000) followed.

On SBS it was Secrets Of The Royal (206,000), SBS World News (182,000), Mastermind (129,000), Into the Mind (119,000) and 24 Hours in Emergency (94,000).

Bluey was king of multichannels at 176,000.

  1. Andy Allen was very harsh and abrupt with his judging last night so I guess the contestants must be really glad that Melissa Leong is coming back tonight!
