  1. Already expressed how much I was impressed with HYBPA in the TV Lounge so I won’t do that again here. But brilliant result in the ratings! Very happy to have it back!

  2. Hi David, side note for younger demos – HYBPA looks to have won that with Lego ahead of Masterchef in all 3.

Interesting change of Total People winners throughout the night. 7 into ABC into 9 Into Ten. Pity SBS couldn’t close the night.

          1. I also saw the NZ version of HYPBA attention it was also similar but each person was at home but it worked as well

  3. Have you been paying attention was really enjoyable last night, was probably good that Tom was in the studio and not at home himself and the backdrops behind the players were all the same so wasn’t just their living rooms etc, I hadn’t watched a whole show in a while but did last night as was a bit of good fun.

  4. I think there are still 3 very interesting numbers to come out of these results for me. Firstly, what was the drop off in viewing for both LM and HR when HYBPA started at 8.45 and conversely, what is the time shifted number for HYBPA? I hope these can be published…

  5. What a missed opportunity to show the Star Wars Lego episode last night on May 4th. They could have had three eps for the two weeks instead of one and it would have lined up.

    1. They often repeat the Friday newbie after HYBPA. They tried B-rated US sitcoms in that timeslot a few times but haven’t worked any better.

10’s 9:45/10pm line-up is mostly just encores, not the strongest strategy.

A late night sketch comedy show might be a good fit for those not quite ready for bed?

      1. Channel 10 are the encore Kings.. One of the reasons why they go from one extreme to to the other with rating numbers. Big numbers for some shows followed by numbers for the rest that are extremely low
