TV chef and MasterChef favourite Hayden Quinn was eliminated from the show last night after a two-part “Mystery Box” challenge.

Not for the first time, the Family Food Fight judge, was fighting to stay in the contest.

Quinn landed in the bottom 7 after serving up under-cooked pork and ginger dumplings as a Chinese dish. But a second dish had rolled beef that was over-cooked and failed to hero beetroot and horseradish.

He follows from fellow TV chef Ben Milbourne who was eliminated last month.

Last night also confirmed the exit of Ben Ungermann with judge Jock Zonfrillo telling contestants, “You’re probably wondering where Ben is. Due to a personal matter, Ben has had to leave the competition, and he will not be returning.”

It proved to be the biggest twist of Twist Week….

Ungermann was arrested in March.
